Who we share your data with
You are not required to log in to this website. Therefore BlueStar Mediaitons does not track your login information.
BlueStar Mediations does not retain any payment information, we use a 3rd party system for all payment transactions.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue. At the current time comments are not enabled on the website.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
Any detailed data that is retained on behalf of BlueStar Mediations is retained for six months.
Generalized contact information and a copy of the Master Mediation Agreement if one is completed is retained for three years. This information can include names, dates of service, addresses and contact information. This data is retained in case there is an inquiry from a court. After three years all data is deleted. The data is retained on a secure site known as ADR Notable which has been constructed for mediation services as well as the purposes of confidentiality.
In order to participate in a mediation, the Agreement to Mediate stipulates that the Participants agree not to record. Should a Participant inadvertently record a session, and damages occur, the aggrieved Participant shall seek remedies from the Participant that recorded the session. BlueStar Mediations retains no interest nor retains any liability should the recording occur.
PCI
BlueStar Mediations utilizes a third-party Store with an independent payment system. BlueStar Mediations does not acquire or retain personal consumer information such as credit card information.
